In 2020, our KICKING CANCER’S BUTT fundraising event obviously had to go virtual. We encouraged everyone to walk, run, wheel – or whatever – for the week of October 18 to 24.

Inspired by the REAL HEROES who walk, run, wheel – or fly – through our doors (and into our zoom rooms) every day, our Executive Director set a personal “777” challenge. Over 7 days, she would tackle 7 sports, dressed as 7 different superheroes.

Thank you to all the participants, teams, donors and sponsors that joined forces to raise more than $80,000. All proceeds will go directly to support Wellwood’s NO COST programs for people who are living with the unimaginable anxiety of having cancer in the midst of covid. These are also very difficult times for charities. We needed you this year, more than ever … and YOU WERE INCREDIBLE!
