Memorial & Honorary Giving

A gift to Wellwood is a wonderful and meaningful way to honour or remember a loved one. Please consider Wellwood as a recipient for these very special donations. We will be pleased to send a lovely card advising those whom you wish to be notified of your gift.

“DIY” Fundraising Events

Holding a third-party fundraiser for Wellwood is a fun and fabulous “do it yourself” way to help us help others. Anything is possible with a little imagination, but the most important thing is that you and your group have fun!

Some of our supporters have held silent auctions, music events, casual Fridays, craft sales, fashion shows, trivia nights – and one group held a “Walk on Water for Wellwood” event by doing laps around the upper deck of a cruise ship.

Planned Giving

Making pre-arrangements? Please consider advising loved ones and your funeral home director that you wish for memorial donations to go to Wellwood. Supporting our work is yet another way to leave a wonderful legacy.

Should you be planning to leave a donation to Wellwood in your will, we encourage you to discuss your wishes with your lawyer and family members.

Another way to leave a legacy gift is to purchase a life insurance policy with Wellwood as the beneficiary. We invite you to ask your insurance broker for suggestions!
